R. Kim Lee is Production Manager of Shamrock Mining & Metals, LLC.
Currently with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for
the State of Nevada, he retired as the Generation Production and
Maintenance Manager of Nevada Power’s Reid Gardner electrical
production facility. During his tenure at NPC he designed and implemented
a predictive, preventative maintenance program resulting in a twelve
million dollar reduction in costs over the first five years of application. He
chaired numerous boards and teams and developed and directed the
planning and scheduling program to facilitate efficient unit overhauls. He
also served as Nevada Power Company’s Nuclear Safety Engineer for eight
years. He lead the Distributive Controls System Group to a successful
conversion of the six hundred megawatt facility to the General Electric
Ovation controls system. He served as Plant Manager for Sierra Chemicals
Lime Division and Sierra Chemicals Explosives Division. He was President
of IFS Investment Group and Lee’s Distributing Wholesale Supply
Company. He has been involved with the operation and maintenance of
mineral processing, mining, and product sales for over forty years. He is
currently President of the Panaca Farmstead Water Board. He resides
with his wife in Panaca Nevada.
